What do I need to bring with me to my appointment?
Please bring the following items with you:

  • Referral letter from your General Practitioner or referring doctor;
  • Details of previous orthopaedic surgery;
  • Medicare card and/or Veteran Affairs card;
  • Private health insurance details;
  • Any relevant investigative tests, even if the results have been reported as normal.  These may include X-Rays, MRI’s, Bone scans, ultrasounds, nerve conductions studies and so on;
  • A list of any medications you are taking;
  • A list of any allergies you have, particularly with respect to drugs or medication;
  • Physiotherapy progress reports, if you have been receiving treatment to the problem area;
  • If you are claiming Worker’s Compensation, our staff will advise you what you will be required to bring to the appointment. 
  • Payment for the consultation.
If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact my offices by phone or email as soon as possible so that we can offer your time to someone who can attend an earlier appointment than they already have.

We respect that your time is valuable and will always make an effort to keep to time. Occasionally, emergencies may result in delays which we will communicate to you.
